HDB Resale Floorplan layout is an important tool for homebuyers when considering a resale flat. It provides a detailed representation of the layout and features of the unit, helping homebuyers to make an informed decision about their home purchase or home renovation planning!



1) WALl



Structural Walls (Yellow) – Structural Walls is an essential component of HDB flats, providing support for the building’s structure and contributing to sound insulation and fire protection. Structural walls are load-bearing, they cannot be easily removed or hacked without compromising the HDB flat structural stability.


Normal Walls (Green) – Normal walls are important feature of the flat’s layout, providing privacy and separation between living spaces. Normal walls can be hacked away easily therefore it can be useful for homeowners who want to create an open-plan living space or change the layout of their flat to better suit their needs and lifestyle.



2) Door



Swing Doors (Yellow) – Swing doors are doors that open on hinges, swinging either inward or outward. It is a common feature in HDB flats, used to separate rooms such as bedrooms, living rooms, and kitchens. Swing doors can be made of various materials, including wood, glass, or metal.


Folding Doors (Green) – Folding doors are designed to fold away neatly when not in use. They are typically made up of a series of panels that fold accordingly to style when the door is opened or closed. Folding doors are commonly used to space-saving additions to compact spaces such as bathrooms and service yards.



3) Windows


Sliding Windows (yellow) – Sliding windows are windows that slide horizontally to open and close. They are a popular choice for HDB Resale flats as they do not take up space when opened.


Casement Windows (green) – Casement are windows that are hinged on one side and open outwards, like a door. They are typically larger than sliding windows and provide more ventilation
